Movie Magazine: Masthead

To create my own masthead for my movie magazine, I looked at ones from existing magazines. The conventions of these are bold fonts that are clear, bright colours like the red and white, no italics or underlining, and some of them have the actors over the writing. For inspiration, I tried the white and red with my own fonts and title, as well as trying out different colours that will suit the movie genre, like blue and black (seen on other movie magazines), but will also suit the genre of my movie which is psychological thriller.


These are all my ideas for my movie magazine masthead. I did a range of different colour schemes to see what ones I preferred with the different fonts.
